Resumen
La eficiencia administrativa en empresas de ingeniería es un factor clave para su sostenibilidad y competitividad, especialmente en contextos que predominan modelos de gestión empíricos. Este artículo analiza como la aplicación de buenas prácticas administrativas puede optimizar la gestionen empresas de ingeniería en Cuenca, Ecuador, caracterizadas por una dirección técnica con poca formación organizacional formal. Se analizaron treinta artículos científicos publicados en los últimos cinco años seleccionados por su relevancia. Los resultados identificaron cinco ejes estratégicos: incorporación de tecnologías, estandarización de procesos, fortalecimiento del talento humano, control financiero y gobernanza organizacional. Estos elementos demostraron tener impacto directo en la mejora de la productividad, reducción de costos, cumplimiento de plazos y toma de decisiones. Como conclusión, se identifica un modelo híbrido que integra herramientas administrativas y técnicas, orientado a fortalecer la eficiencia organizativa.
