Resumo
Atualmente, as abordagens alternativas de avaliação nas salas de aula de inglês como língua estrangeira (EFL) são levadas a sério devido ao seu potencial para promover pedagogias centradas no aluno e aprimorar a aquisição do idioma. Esta revisão examina a implementação, as percepções e o impacto desses métodos nas salas de aula de inglês como língua estrangeira. Ao sintetizar a literatura, este trabalho tem como objetivo identificar as principais práticas de avaliação alternativas, como portfólios e avaliações por pares, e analisar sua eficácia no aprimoramento da proficiência no idioma. Esta revisão explora os desafios e os aspectos positivos dessas práticas, oferecendo percepções sobre suas implicações práticas. Usando uma abordagem semissistemática, os artigos relevantes foram selecionados com base em critérios de inclusão e exclusão definidos, com foco em estudos recentes revisados por pares no contexto do EFL. Os resultados mostraram que, apesar dos desafios, a avaliação alternativa deve ser explorada e usada nas salas de aula de EFL como parte de uma mudança na educação.
